Alrighty then. Son of Poker Night is tomorrow. If you have previously told me you were coming, either through LJ, FB, or AIM, you’re set. If you were not sure you were coming and had me guessing, now’s the time to confirm. I need to buy food.
If you did not know about this and feel like spending a day playing poker, eating spicy chili and watching TV, you can ask. Just know that space is tight. (Hey its an apartment in Manhattan…)
I have 9 people definite and 4 people tentative.
I have reservations to see Sanshi Katsura’s “New York Hanjotei” event this September 17th. The RSVP was for two, and I am one. Anyone wish to join me? Sorry, the tickets have been snatched up!
For those of you scratching your heads, Katsura-san is the gentleman who performs English Rakugo. I wanted to see him at Otakon but the opportunity didn’t allow for it.
Many thanks to Maile who handed me her reservations!
Its been a while, so time for a Mid-Week Eats! XD
This Wednesday, August 20th. 7:15PM to 10:15PM.
We invade the Lower East Side for Aussie Fish and Chips at Bondi Road, then tasty cupcakes at Sugar Sweet Sunshine!
Order of food and cupcakes may be subject to how crowded the restaurants are! XD
We’ll meet at the corner of Rivington and Essex Street. Those of you who are in town earlier who wish to take advantage of Bondi Road’s happy hour are welcome to do so, their happy hour runs until 7:30pm everyday. I have not tried Bondi Road myself, but I figure this is a fun way to give them a shot!
RSVP if you’re coming!
Its Thursday after a vacation, and I’m at work with it feeling like a Tuesday. While it is busy its not screaming mad like it had been before I left. I’m not sure what to make of this.
I thought I’d have free weekends through the end of the month, but when I looked again, it turns out that I’ve got plans or potential plans throughout the rest of the month. How did that happen?
Mid Week Eats — now that Otakon is over, its coming again. Next week. Sometime next week. Not sure what day, not sure what place, but it will happen.
I’ve discovered that the audio file I recorded on my phone of my Robot Chicken Theme Clucking is easily sent as messages to people. … This is bad. I’m having way too much fun with this.
There’s a blue sky with puffy clouds and decent weather. Life, is surprisingly decent right now.

Tomorrow, I head down to Atlantic City, for a weekend of celebrating birthdays (THREE OF THEM), partying like a rockstar (well at least I’ll be drinking rockstars), and gambling.
Warning, warning, SHARK IN THE WATER!
