Happy July 4th people!
Taking the train home at 2:30AM. Sleepy. Kinda my constant expression these days, sleepy.
Hair’s cut short now. Shaved off the starter goatee this morning –it just didn’t look right when I was staring in the mirror. Might switch to something else. Or go clean for a little while.

So yeah. We had a “party” today at the company, to highlight the completion of a major acquisition that is supposed to be a very big deal to us all.
… The company’s idea of thanking us was to give us “treats” in a mini party.
…… Okay, I know that they were trying to do something, but given the huge endeavor that this was, and the company wide nature of it, yuathink they could have sprung for something more than peanuts?
… PEANUTS! We’re working for PEANUTS, PEOPLE, PEANUTS!

Okay, the desaturation combined with strong contrast curves just puts me in mind of the insane contrasty images from 300. Darn you Scooter, you’ve gotten me on this damned super-contrast kick..

So Ollie found himself in a staring contest with a Butterfly.
.. one that landed on his flash.
And decided he liked it there. 
So, in doing some reading, I found some photos shot with what is called a “Beauty Dish” - yet another method of bouncing flash.
