Photo Post : Flying in Atlantic City
I threw together a KAP (Kite Aerial Photography) rig using a kite (Thanks @Crissy!), some Balsa wood, eye bolts, a hacked Canon A720 camera and lots of crossed fingers.
I happened to go out to Atlantic City, and before this crazy storm came in the winds were up to 20mph on the beach. So I threw the rig up in the air and it flew. It’s choppy, it was positioned crazily bad, there’s a smudge on the lens, I forgot to do alot of tweaks to my rig and camera, there’s sand ground into the camera keeping it from turning off properly and I still have sand in my shoes but for a first trial run, it worked.
