Best wishes to all of you as we approach the end of the year. Its been a rough one for alot of us — but we’re at the end of it. Hang in there.
I’m at work today, taking care of business. Alot of atypical work — lots of paperwork to finish. Nature of the game really – its a miracle that I’m in the financal industry and have work at all..
Playing poker online in the last week has averaged out to $50/hour. I consider this a an atypical up-streak. If it maintains though, it’s not a bad secondary source of income…
I tripled up against my family playing poker this past Christmas eve. In some ways that’s a greater achievement than my online up-streak. Sharks, all of them!
The holiday has abused my diet and my body — I haven’t gained weight but my waist is tight… But… holiday food… mmmm so tasty…
Now that the holiday season is almost over, my schedule starts to free up a little bit. I hope. This means, Mid-Week Eats gets resurrected come the new year.
No news on the “dating” front. Some days I feel like the box of cereal on the shelf in the supermarket that has an inch of dust on it!
Have been working my way through Orson Scott Card’s “Ender” series of books, and have been rereading King’s ”Dark Tower” series. Mmmm, excellent reading.
Disgaea DS has taken over my DS playing time. Its absolutely a pure numbers level grinding game, but addictive nonetheless.
What’s up with the apartment in Harlem? @(&% if I know, I really do think they ran out of money for nails and can’t finish the rental side of the building. I’m getting really pissed off now. Once the new year hits I send them another email going “Hey, what’s up..” At this point I’m seriously thinking Woodside/Sunnyside is a viable alternative…
UCC Instant Coffee is still instant coffee, but its damned good instant coffee..
Friday I’m in Love. At least, I’m wearing the T-Shirt. It came in the mail today. I had to put it on immediately.
Finally watched “The Dark Knight” — I can see why people loved it.
That’s it really. 2008 seems to be wrapping up with a quiet “poomf”.
We return you to your regularly scheduled programming.
