Yup. Got here. Plane flight went by in a blur. Plane flew over a small storm system on the way. That looked fun. Wanted to jump out of the plane and make snow angels in the clouds. Of course, that would have ended badly..
Spent much of the rest of the day in a half asleep haze. Linked up with some people here and there, hey there people! By the way, Crochet Duck is full of win and cute. Double-shot Expresso + Energy drinks from Starbucks are crack. Didn’t find a poker game. Kat got in at 2am. Sleepy. Sleep. So tired. SLEEP!
Struggled out of bed at 9:30, ran over to the parade. Got to the curve just in time to see Jon and Becky’s Little Mermaid costume, yay! Jon.. Don’t let go of that rolling rock.
Hey, its Todd! Oh, and stormtroopers. Lots of stormtroopers. Are they allowed to wave?
Okay. Taking nap now. Bye!

Rumor no more: Canon announces EOS 50D | Crave, the gadget blog – CNET
Great googly moogly – Canon’s releasing the 50D already? Looks like the 40D was a stepping stone – or much more likely… Canon went “Oh shit” when Nikon released their latest cameras.
I’m still waiting for the next mid-range full frame sensor… But I have to admit, Digic 4, 12800 ISO, high res screen on back and HDMI output? I just hope that Canon isn’t overselling in a panicked response to remain competitive.
If it meets all that it claims for the pricepoint, then I may be finally swapping out my 20D.
Regarding Fraudulent Otakon Memberships
Some of the people who read my blog may have head rumor or discussion about the sale of Fraudulent memberships at Otakon 2008. The link above is the official statement on this.
As a board member I will not make any other statement on this sensitive topic.
Those of you who know me well can probably guess my personal feelings on the situtation.

It makes a sick sort of sense…

3. Not enough cowbell! Life is not bad at all, but I’m not terribly enthuiastic today either.
4. bok bok bok. .
I’ve got a screaming headache today. Something has caught up with my sinuses. *sigh*
