Its been an interesting year. 2006 was a particularly dramatic year, 2007 was close behind. It had a mixed bag of ups and downs, many times happening in quick succession. Like many people on the list, I’m glad that we’re about to close the book on this year.
New Year’s resolutions? I don’t really go for those. I’m more of the mindset that you resolve to do something at any time, and just resolve to do it. Its not tied to a specific date. That being said, there are some definite things happening in 2008.
Every year is different. I can’t promise anyone that 2008 will be better, but I can assure you that I’m hoping you have a good one. To my friends, I wish you the best of fortune for 2008, and I’ll try to be there, camera in hand, recording events good or bad — and lending a hand.

Holy %)(*#%&)(#*&% — Duane Reade has opened up Urgent Care clinics in Manhattan??! See, this is actually stunning – because until now if you needed to see a doctor during the weekend you were kinda out of luck. It pretty much meant you were stuck going to the emergency room. Worse, if you had no insurance, good luck finding any alternative other than an ER.
This is great – its about @)(*%&#)%*(#&%*#&%)(@*&@* time this option became available. I’ll have to keep an eye on them as an alternative next time I get some kind of dumb ass sickness on a Saturday!
